Ingredients of Vegetable Upma
- It's 1 cup of rawa.
- It's 2 cups of water.
- Prepare 1 tsp of salt or as per taste.
- It's 1/2 tsp of rai.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of zeera.
- You need 8-10 of curry leaves.
- You need 1/2 tsp of grated ginger.
- It's 2-3 of dry red chillies.
- You need 2 of green chillies.
- Prepare 1 of onion chopped.
- Prepare 1 cup of mix vegetables.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of haldi powder.
- You need of Oil for cooking.
- You need 1/2 of lemon juice.
Vegetable Upma instructions
- Heat oil and add the rai, zeera, curry leaves, red chillies and green chillies. Once they splutter add the ginger.and chopped onions. Saute till onions are transparent. Add the haldi and vegetables. Cook for a few minutes..
- In a seperate vessel keep the water to boil along with salt. Add the rawa to the cooked vegetables and saute till you get a nice aroma..
- Once the water comes to a boil, add it to the rawa and stir it well. Cook on low flame. Add the lemon juice and mix well. Cover and let the upma simmer on low till all the water dries up and upma is ready.
