- Prepare 1 of large FRESH raw egg (room temperature).
- You need 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of mustard powder.
- It's 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar.
- You need 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.
- Prepare Dash of cayenne.
- Prepare 1 cup of neutral oil like vegetable, canola, or avocado.
Homemade Mayonnaise instructions
- In a jar or container that just fits the ingredients (and wand of the blender) combine ingredients in order (all at room temperature). Put blender in all the way to the bottom of the container and blend for 30 seconds or until mayonnaise starts to thicken then slowly pull up while continuing to blend. Keep refrigerated for up to a week. Great for sandwiches etc but amazing to use in cooked preparations too..
